MINNEAPOLIS -- Last year, the University of Minnesota launched an initiative to get people to start a conversation with their doctor about aspirin.

And now, a new study shows the "Ask About Aspirin" initiative is working. The program is designed to lower cardiovascular risk within the target population of men ages 45-79 and women 55-79 years in Minnesota over their lifetimes.

Camille Williams sat down with a professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota.
