Joellyn J Rock

Associate Professor of Digital Art, my creative research bridges the areas of digital narrative, new media design, and filmmaking. My skill set includes a background in traditional visual art media, as well as, fluency with emerging tools used for digital imaging and video production. My creative work includes digital print, interactive narrative, and experimental multimedia in a range of hybrid text/image/video projects. With an interdisciplinary team of colleagues, I helped establish the new Motion and Media Across Disciplines Lab (MMAD Lab) for collaborative work in experimental video, interactive installation, and motion capture animation. I teach classes in mixed-media digital arts, interactive media, and digital filmmaking.
