Personal profile

Research interests

Much of my research is focused on the inclusion of students with disabilities and English language learners (ELLs) in assessments used for accountability purposes. This has included research on assessment accessibility, alternate assessments, the use of accommodations in large-scale assessments, and test security. I also have conducted research on the skills and competencies needed by educators to support the achievement of students with disabilities. This included the development of online professional development modules on accommodations decision making for instruction and assessment.
