Project Details
Description
Agricultural scientists depend on sample surveys to obtain information on many topics. The accuracy of survey estimates depend upon controlling error. Solutions need to be found for reducing nonresponse and measurement errors. Through the project, Improving Data Quality from Sample Surveys to foster Agricultural, Community and Development in Rural America, WERA-1010 coordinating committee members will 1) inform participants of literature and previous research that members might not know about; 2) discuss and critique survey designs and instruments; 3) coordinate proposed experimental designs; 4) facilitate the reporting of research results; and 5) teach others new approaches to reducing survey error.
