This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. To date, neuropsychiatric and cognitive research has described psychiatric, cognitive and decision making difficulties associated with Parkinson's Disease (PD), but there is not an integrative model describing how these impairments co-vary among individuals with PD, across stages of disease, or how medication used to treat Parkinsons symptoms may influence executive function and decision making. The purpose of this study is to show that PD subjects and control subjects will differ in apathy and impulsivity based on self-reported questionnaires and will also differ in executive function and reward guided decision making unrelated to cognitive function or physical movement impair
