Targeting virus-specific CAR T cells to lymphoid follicles to achieve durable HIV suppression Project Summary There is a need to develop improved treatments for HIV. The studies proposed here will evaluate a novel treatment strategy that uses patients own T cells to target a reservoir of HIV within lymphoid tissues. This therapy has the potential to achieve durable suppression of HIV.
