Abstract

This paper considers the problem of finding the ℓ1 optimal networked controller for a networked system, where both plant and controller are interconnected systems interacting over a directed causal network. Adopting Youla parametrization, the optimal ℓ1 control problem is formulated. Results show that distributed input to output ℓ1 optimal control problem is a convex problem under certain conditions, provide a controller that is realizable on the given network and a network realization.
