Funding Information:
On discussion with participants and survey results, it was believed that LFN was successfully addressing the “education” aspect of its mission, but not the “collaboration and discussion” aspects. Thus, in January 2022, LFN created a new initiative, “The Workroom,” an online community for all hepatology-focused trainees that promotes collaboration by providing a safe space for intimate dialogue. Within 6 months of its creation, more than 130 trainees from US-based gastroenterology and hepatology fellowships had joined. The Workroom was supported by an American Gastroenterology Association’s Academy of Educators grant.
