Abstract

A partnership was established between the American Lung Association of Iowa and the Smoking Research Group of Iowa State University to offer smoking cessation clinics across the state. The numbers of clinics offered grew from four per year in 1979-1980 to 118 to 1990-1991 and leveled off to 82 in 1993- 1994.
