Abstract
The adaptive modeling technique consists of comparing the impedance of a model mathematically defined system to that of the experimental system in a positive feedback sense. The resultant errors at all frequencies are then used to update the parameter of the model and the process continued until the errors are minimized according to some arbitrary protocol. Both the mathematical and hardware implementation of the technique will be described for copper dissolution kinetics on a rotating disk electrode system.
