Abstract
Age-density distributions were developed for tall shrubs in 34 upland aspen and conifer stands in N Minnesota. Age-density distributions of the entire population of shrubs and of most individual species were best described by a negative exponential model. Distributions of a few shrub species were better described by a power function. -Authors
