Abstract

In THE above article [1], the following sentence appears in the next-to-last paragraph of Section IV-C: “The best-fitting values for α are consistent with being dominated by the nearest neighbor distance, as might be expected with a simple Lorentz field analysis [18].” It is more likely though that the variation observed is due to some slight clustering of the ferrofluid particles, rather than Manuscript received 23 November 2022; accepted 23 November 2022. Digital Object Identifier 10.1109/TMAG.2022.3224881 the change in the nearest neighbor distance. This does not alter the main conclusions of the work.
