N2 - We propose a MEMS device which integrates a dielectrophoretic blood separation technique with a cytometer and pump for use in low cost blood analysis. Our technical analysis focuses on fluid flow, blood modeling for electrical systems and the dielectrophoresis and cytometry methods. Simulation results of the flow, separation and cytometry are presented.
