Abstract

Deliberate donor-specific transfusions (DST) prior to mismatched living-related (LRD) kidney transplantation has been reported to produce results similar to that of HLA-identical siblings. In this report, we present our early experience with DST in 16 children receiving primary kidney transplants (Tx) between June 1984 and April 1986.
