Abstract
In this article, cerebral arterial and venous development are reviewed. Examples of normal variants and abnormalities arising from intrauterine cerebrovascular events are included. Developmental vascular anomalies such as azygos anterior cerebral artery, venous angioma, and vein of Galen aneurysm are also discussed.
