Abstract
Proper use of oral contraceptives by a woman of child-bearing potential with seizures poses many problems. Oral contraceptives may exacerbate seizures; the effectiveness of oral contraceptives may be affected by contraceptives. This review of the available literature proposes practical guidelines for the management of this situation.
