Abstract

Many approaches have been used to solve the problem of long gap EA (LG-EA). Delayed repair, with or without bougienage, may be successful, but if not, other procedures such as circular myotomies, gastric pull ups, and interposition grafts have been used to close the gap. Unfortunately, these are frequently attended by a variety of short-and long-term problems.
