Abstract

The effect of discrete time on the generalized Taylor-Aris dispersion analysis of spatially periodic lattice Monte Carlo methods was presented. The source of the various restrictions of the method were rationalized and eliminated. The source of the limiting behavior was revealed by considering the discrete time corrections appearing in the Gram-Charlier expansion of the probability.
