Abstract
The weak-beam technique in transmission electron microscopy was used to investigate dissociated dislocations in deformed olivine. For all combinations of diffracting condition. Burgers vector, and beam direction employed in this study, the observed separation of partial dislocations was found to be 40 Å. Under certain conditions, a complex image consisting of three intensity maxima was noted for dissociated dislocations.
