Abstract

We describe a 3-step approach pipeline to personalize warfarin treatment by predicting which one of a collection of protocols optimize outcomes based on an individual's clinical and genetic characteristics. We demonstrate an example using a collection of 5 existing treatment protocols. In our clinical trial simulations, such a personalized protocol show 15% - 51% significantly better outcome (P<0.00001) than all 5 one-size-fits-all protocols.
