Abstract
Uniaxial tests were performed on isotropic and aligned tissue-equivalents while recording circularly polarized dark-field light images. Illuminating the sample with circularly polarized light and using a circular analyzer on the camera, the linear retardation images of the sample were generated, indicating the degree of fiber alignment at each pixel at video rate.
