Funding Information:Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, sponsored an invitational workshop on the topic of Team Based Competencies: Building a Shared Foundation for Education and Clinical Practice. Attendees included practitioners, educators, health systems leaders, policy makers, professional organizations’ members, and staff of several foundations. The IPEC panel presented the four core competency domains: values and ethics, roles and responsibilities, interprofessional communication, and teamwork and team-based care, along with examples of more specific competencies associated with the domains. Conference participants subsequently endorsed these competencies.
