Abstract

The incidence of sepsis is nearly doubling with each decade, and it is now the 13th leading cause of death, the authors report. Their alphabet-based mnemonic is designed to facilitate swift, expert care of patients with sepsis by keeping the key diagnostic and therapeutic issues in view.
