Abstract
Simulation is a valuable tool that can be utilized for training in almost any setting. In this chapter, we highlight Simulation Use for Global Away Rotations (SUGAR), a curriculum resource that provides simulation cases aimed at addressing nuanced emotional and practical preparation for work in resource-limited settings. We also describe ways simulation can be utilized for education and training in resource-limited settings and ways to practice these procedural modifications on-site in resource-limited environments.
