Many thanks go to the Workshop Co-Chairs Chunyi Peng and Srihari Srihari Nelakuditi; the Poster/Demo Co-Chairs Arash Asadi, Israat Haque, and Dan Li for organizing the poster/demo session; the Publicity Co-Chairs Muhammad Shahzad, Marco Chiesa, and Dan Pei for publicizing the event via email and social media; the Publications Co-Chairs Chen Qian and Kuai Xu for handling hundreds of email messages on a daily basis when the camera-ready deadline approached; the Travel Grant Co-Chairs Wenye Wang and Bo Jiang for applying for and obtaining a generous travel grant from the National Science Foundation and others, handling travel grant applications and selecting; and the Registration Chair Yasaman Keshtkarjahromi for maintaining the registration website and keeping track of the registration status and requirements of every paper and attendee. We would also like to thank the Finance Co-Chairs Baek-Young Choi and Feng Qian, for working on and enforcing every detail in the conference budget; as well as the Web Chair Jiachen Chen for maintaining the conference website, handling numerous updates in a timely manner. Last but not the least, we are particularly indebted to the Local Arrangements Co-Chairs Balajee Vamanan, Lin Cai, and Junchen Jiang for preparing for and ensuring the smooth operations of the conference. Indeed, one metric for the complexity of an event is the number of emails exchanged in setting it up. The general chairs count over a thousand this year.

ICNP 2019 would not have been possible without the “institutional” memory provided by the ICNP Steering Committee. We are particularly grateful to the Steering Committee Chair, K.K. Ramakrishnan, who has provided us with consistent and tireless guidance and support throughout the process. Our gratitude also goes to Seagate, Akamai, Cisco, Huawei/Futurewei for the financial sponsorship of the conference. Their generous support has not only kept the costs of the conference registration down, but also provided valuable assistance for student travel. We would also like to thank the National Science Foundation for providing a very generous travel grant to attract a diverse group of graduate students --especially women and under-represented minority students --from US institutions to attend the conference.
