Abstract

Female urinary incontinence is a common condition with up to 64% of women reporting experiencing some type of urinary incontinence. The prevalence of urinary incontinence is influenced by many factors including age, race/ethnicity, genetics, and other comorbidities. Urinary incontinence had not only a high individual cost but also a high societal cost. Health disparities in the United States influence both a woman's care-seeking behavior and treatment outcomes.
